City of Odum Receives $2,500 from Hospital’s Scrap Metal Recycling Project

Recently, the staff at Wayne Memorial Hospital cleaned out storage areas, resulting in the sale of scrap metal. Those proceeds, $2500 worth, were earmarked to give to the City of Odum for their gymnasium renovation project. Odum Mayor Brian Nipper, left, is pictured receiving the check from the hospital’s Chief Financial Officer Greg Jones, right. Nipper thanked the hospital and shared, “We will certainly put these funds to good use.” Jones said, “It’s our pleasure to help the city of Odum with this project in any way we can.”
