Pierce County Health Center Changes Locations in Blackshear

Jesup, GA – The new location of the Pierce County Health Center (PCHC) is open and seeing patients at 333 West Carter Avenue. Having moved all personnel and office equipment last week from their former office in the Cotton Exchange, their first day of being fully staffed and operational in the new location was Monday, July 31. The PCHC is a specialty clinic providing patients appointments with specialists close to home.

“As we’ve grown from a small, rural hospital to more of a regional medical center, we’ve realized the importance of offering services to areas outside our home county. Thus, the Pierce County Health Center. By expanding our presence with physical locations in neighboring cities, we hope to service the medical needs of residents in Pierce, Ware, Brantley, Appling and Long even better than before.”

Different specialized physicians will use the center on specific days. Current specialties include obstetrics/gynecology, ENT, general surgery, neurosurgery and dermatology. All patients will be seen by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling the PCHC at 912-807-7242.
