Hearing Technology Expert offering Educational Seminar and Lunch Monday, May 23 at Jesup area restaurant

Jesup, GA – As a service to the community, Mr. Scott Kiesling, Phonak Technology Expert, will be presenting an educational seminar over lunch Monday, May 23rd at Sybil’s Family Restaurant in Jesup. The program begins at 11 a.m. and will conclude by 1 p.m.

Mr. Kiesling will be discussing the major causes of hearing loss and the latest advancements in digital hearing aid technology. Lunch is complimentary. Seating is limited, so reservations should be made by calling (912) 385-9876.

The educational seminar and lunch are sponsored by The Listening Center and Wayne Memorial and St.Joseph’s/Candler Physician Specialty Associates. Also attending will be Thomas Chasse, M.D., ENT Surgeon and Karla McKenzie, MCD, CCC-A, Audiologist.

Dr. Chasse is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. As an ENT Surgeon, Dr. Chasse specializes in the evaluation and treatment of nose and sinus issues, airway obstruction, hoarseness, tonsil and adenoid surgery, ear infections, surgery for dizziness, hearing loss and head and neck tumors.

Karla McKenzie is an Audiologist with over 10 years’ experience providing comprehensive and state of the art services for identifying hearing loss for ages birth through adult and providing hearing healthcare for the hearing impaired. She earned her Masters of Communication Disorders from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. She has her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology and is a member of the American Speech/Language Association. She especially enjoys working with the elderly and helping them with their hearing healthcare.
