Hospital Medicine and Advance Directives: Everything you Wanted to Know but were Afraid to Ask

Jesup, GA – Have you put aside making decisions because you have questions? Or, have you wondered what your options are? With an advance directive, you can make choices that will be best for you and your family. Continuing its monthly lecture series, Wayne Memorial Hospital announces its next featured speaker and topic. Dr. Erin Alexander, Hospitalist, will lead this free lecture on Thursday, June 30. The topic of the lecture is “Hospital Medicine and Advance Directives: Everything you Wanted to Know but were Afraid to Ask.”

The lecture is scheduled for Thursday, June 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Coastal Pines Technical College’s Jesup Campus in the C. Paul Scott Polytechnical Building. The lecture will also allow time for questions and answers. The public is welcome and there is no charge to attend.

These lectures are part of a monthly series offered by the hospital. Wayne Memorial Hospital, whose mission is to provide high quality health care services to all patients, built a state-of-the-art facility in 2007. It is the fourth largest employer in Wayne County with 400+ employees, 84 beds and is a two-time winner of the Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals Small Hospital of the Year Award.
