Jesup – The Annual Pinking of the Jesup City Fountain Ceremony will occur Thursday, October 23 at 1 p.m. The program begins inside the Jesup Depot Community Room with refreshments. Ralph Hickox, Mayor of Jesup, will provide the welcome and introduce the guest speakers, Joann Leonard and Shirley Sebastian, both breast cancer survivors. After closing remarks by Dr. Franklin, a radiologist at Wayne Memorial, the crowd will gather outside by the fountain for a group picture and the actual pinking of the fountain. The public is invited to attend and encouraged to wear pink.
