Some patients require the services of a registered dietitian as part of his/her care plan. Patients with special nutritional needs or diabetes may require special meals while in the hospital and/or education on the foods prepared at home. Another service of the Nutrition Therapy Department is Free Diabetes Education Classes held at the WMH Annex in the Education Classroom on the second Wednesday of each month from 9am until 11am . This class is free to participants and everyone is invited to attend. No pre-registration is required for the class.
