City of Jesup and Wayne Memorial Pink the City Fountain

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness

The Pinking of the Jesup City Fountain occurred earlier today at the Jesup Train Depot. Opening the ceremony was Molly Hall of the Jesup Downtown Development Authority. Guest speaker Dr. Steven Roth then shared breast cancer statistics and a personal story with a reminder to the audience of the importance of regular mammograms. The crowd gathered for a photo, released pink balloons and took some refreshments “to go.”
