Dozens and Dozens of Donuts Delivered for Frontline Workers from Jackie Johnson Campaign

Dozens of donuts were delivered Friday, August 28 to Wayne Memorial Hospital Employees as a thank you to all of the hospital’s frontline workers. On hand to accept the donation was Janet Keith, the hospital’s Executive Assistant to the CEO, CFO, and In-House Legal Counsel (far left, image 1). Delivering them to the hospital were John B. Johnson, Chief Assistant District Attorney (center, image 1), who shared, “You all are heroes in Wayne County. We want to recognize and honor people on the frontline.” Also on hand was Sherry Ann Gibbs, Chief Administrator and Victim Assistance Director for the Brunswick Judicial Circuit (far right, image 1).

As the hospital is on visitor restrictions due to Covid-19, Keith and another hospital employee made the delivery of doughnuts to each department. Two nurses happy to be on the receiving end of the Sugar and Spice doughnut box were Taylor Mullis, RN (left, image 2) and Michelle Gill, RN (right, image 2) of the Obstetrics Department.
