KN95 Masks donated to Wayne Memorial via Partnership with Congressman Buddy Carter and SK Battery America

For the third time during the coronavirus pandemic, a northeast Georgia company, SK Battery America, reached out to Congressman Buddy Carter’s office and rural hospitals across the state offering help to healthcare workers and patients via KN95 masks. Recently, 2,000 masks were delivered by SK Battery America personnel to Wayne Memorial, bringing their total donation to 5,000 masks. On hand at the donation were, from left to right, Sk Battery America’s Director of External Affairs Steven Jahng, Wayne Memorial’s Assistant Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Quality Angie Jones and Sk Battery America’s Director of Public Relations Yangho Kim.

“We are so thankful for each of these masks,” Jones said. “Not only can our healthcare personnel use them to protect themselves during their work, we can offer them to patients for their protection as well.” Jahng added, “Let’s hope this is the last time a mask donation is needed in any part of the state and we can all get this virus behind us.”
