Wayne Memorial Hospital is proud to announce its latest Wayne County High School Varsity Football Players of the Week. Matthew Fuller is the Offensive Player of the Week. Fuller scored both of the Wayne County touchdowns and rushed for over 100 yards, with 1,640 total yards for the season. The Defensive Players of the Week are the entire Wayne County Yellow Jacket Defense. They allowed only seven points from a team that averaged over 41 points per game.

Congratulations to all the players for their outstanding performances in Wayne County’s victory over Perry High School. The Wayne County Yellow Jackets now look forward to the Elite Eight matchup with North Oconee High School Friday night.
